Introduction

Introduction to the review team:

Did you know there are 1.2 billion people across the globe playing video games and of that 1.2 billion people 700 million people play online games.  The four of us are going to keep you up-to date with the latest Tech and give you a simple and easy to understand review of past, present and upcoming games as well as the need to know news for the industry.

Let's start with a brief introduction from each member of our team to give you an understanding of our interests within the gaming vortex.

Michael;
I'm an education student majoring in English, my goal is to become a primary school teacher. I'm currently a Diploma trained childcare Educator and love what I do. My job and my dreams pretty much sum up my genre for games in general, I love anything that brings out the inner kid. I was born in 1989 so I tend to appreciate the older style games like Super Mario World, Sonic, Super Mario Cart, 007, Pokemon etc. I have just started to get back into video games in the past year or two with the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. I am next to buy the Nintendo Switch.

Alessandra:
I am a Law and Commerce student majoring in Economics, goal is to be able to help developing countries and achieve worldwide social justice (far-fetched goal, i know). While I love to indulge myself in serious economic and social issues I also enjoy winding back and playing video games with my younger brother. Together we enjoy everything from Mario Kart to Farcry and always get very competitive to win the 'best player' title in the family. My current game obsession is the PS4 remake of Crash Bandicoot; bought it on Saturday and we have not stopped playing since.

Marufa:
I am an Engineering student majoring in Software Engineering. I haven't been playing video games for a while, however I have played some games on the Wii and Nintendo DSi. I watch my brother and family friends play their games on their Nintendo DSi and PlayStation and I also participate with them.

Chris:
I am a Security Studies student in my last semester at university.  Cyber-Security is a field in which I hope to work in as I think it is both interesting and challenging. Furthermore, i think it will be one of the most pressing issues moving forward, as more and more everyday devices are interconnected.  I remember getting my first console in June 2003 for my 7th birthday, the Game Boy Advanced SP which was released in February earlier that year. Born in 1996, around the time the original PlayStation and Nintendo 64 were released, I have been able to see first hand how far gaming and technology in general has come in decades since.
